Dahlia is passionate about helping her patients understand their endocrine issues and finding solutions that fit into their lives. Patients appreciate the extra care Dahlia takes in making sure they know how their endocrine system works, what effect their medication will have and being empowered to take part in their own treatment decisions.

With expertise in all areas of endocrinology including;

·       Bone - Osteoporosis and osteopenia

·       Diabetes - Type I, II and gestational

·       Pituitary - Adenoma, prolactinoma and acromegaly

·       Thyroid - Thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, Graves' disease, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism

·       Adrenal - Addison's disease, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Cushing's disease,  adrenal enlargement

·       Polycystic ovarian syndrome

·       Genetic conditions

·       Currently completing a PhD on endocrine cancer at the Kolling Institute of the University of Sydney

·       Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Endocrinology)

·       Graduate Certificate Health Service Management at Monash University

·       Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours at the University of Western Australia

·       Postgraduate training in Melbourne (Alfred Hospital, Box Hill Hospital), Hobart (Royal Hobart Hospital), Geelong (University Hospital Geelong) and regional placements (Albury-Wodonga, Shepparton and Mildura)
